Exeter Potters Market

This Saturday, August 1st, is the Potters Market at the Transit Shed on Exeter Quay, a historic open air venue in front of the Customs House (or in front of the The Prospect, if you prefer pubs as your landmarks). Exhibitors will be displaying and selling their work between 10am - 4pm.

The Transit Shed, Exeter Quay, a large single-storey, open sided barn-like structure, with tiled roof and iron upright columns supporting it, on the Quay on the side of the canal, which can be crossed by the hand-pulled ferry pictured in the foreground.

All of the potters and ceramicists displaying and selling their assorted works will be members of the West Country Potters Association (https://westcountrypotters.co.uk), for which I'm on the committee – and I have organised the market this year!

There will be a wide variety of things to see and buy from over twenty association members – it's not just pots!

I'll be there of course. This picture is from my last time, two years ago, so although the items I'm displaying will be different this time, I will look pretty much the same – perhaps just a few more wrinkles!
