Missed me at Hever Castle?

My apologies are due.

Unfortunately on the eve of my departure from Cornwall to set up for the Hever Castle craft fair in Kent this year, on Wednesday 9th for the fair itself on the 10th - 14th, my husband had a recurrence of the heart problem he'd suffered with a couple of years ago.

He was so worried about the timing of it that he chose to hide it from me for the first half hour of it starting off, to check if it was just a temporary blip! But once he told me, and I had a listen to his chest and the heart rhythm, I knew that I wasn't going to leaving leaving him on his own with it while I went away.

Sadly, but absolutely necessarily, I cancelled attending the show with my booked stall on the morning of set-up day. Then it was a whirl of doctors and hospitals for the next two days instead.

My husband has now been in hospital for five days as they try to get on top of things, and expresses his apologies to anyone hoping to see me at the show, and feeling pretty bad about it. I have said don't be silly.

The next opportunity to catch me over on that side of the country is at Farnham in Surrey in October, the 10th and 11th.

He's under orders not to be taken ill for that one!
